Description
The Federal Terran Republic ( FTR ) is my idea of what an alternate-history Galactic Terran Alliance ( GTA ) of FreeSpace universe would be like.
Basically, although this is not defined by canon if I remember right, the Unification war ( unrelated to the FreeSpace 2 campaign of the same name ) between Sol's powers was won by Earth and its allies, that led to the GTA. In this case, however, the Unification war was won by Mars, and a radical version of the GTA was formed- the Federal Terran Republic.
This is a wallpaper sized version of their logo. Based on the "eagle" logo from Steve-O's ships, also known as the United Earth Federation logo in another FreeSpace campaign.
